I have a TrueRife system, what AtelierRobin software should I use?
  • netralyN netraly

All True Rife F117/122 systems prior to about Sept 2023 use frequency generator boards and software made and copyrighted by AtelierRobin Inc. You can still run those systems with Atelier Robin Inc F100 software freely available on the atelierrobin.net web site.

For the F122, you can use the software for the F101 board: https://atelierrobin.net/software-for-f101-104

For the F117, you can use the software for the F112 board: https://atelierrobin.net/software-for-f125-165-170/

If you get an error about installing non-Apple software, follow this short guide video to install non-Apple applications: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOW5dyA_JgY

If this is a new computer you can download TrueRife frq program files from their web site also: http://www.truerife.com/TrueRifeUpgrade.zip . For computers where you already had the TrueRfie frq program files before, they should be in Documents/TrueRife.

  • How can my generator automatically run a program after turning on?
  • netralyN netraly

TO have the generator automatically run a program after applying power, you need to use the F100 software on a computer to copy a program called "autorun" to the generator. Follow these steps:

    • Start the f100 software on your computer
    • Connect the generator to your computer
    • Open or write a program in the white portion of the window.
    • Click run to make sure the program runs correctly and as expected
    • Save the program to your computer , make sure to call it "autorun". ie the file
on your computer will be called autorun.frq
    • Use the file->fgen->copy to fgen menu item and select the autorun file. The file
will then be copied to your generator and will automatically run every time you
      turn it on.

To delete an autorun file, use one of those 2 methods:

    • On the f100 software on your computer, use the menu item file->Delete autorun
    • From the keypad of the generator:
      -Press menu
-Scroll down until you see "delete file"
      -Press enter
-Scroll down until you see "autorun"
      -Press enter

  • How can I tell what model my generator is?
  • netralyN netraly

F150/166/170 generators share the same case and keypad. The model number is displayed on the LCD display when you turn on the generator.

For example , the F165 will display "F165 ready" after turning on.

  • Copying frequency programs to a F100 series generator
  • netralyN netraly

To copy files to a F100 series generator you need a computer. It can be a Windows , Mac or Linux computer.

First connect the generator to the computer with the USB cable.

Then install the f100 software from here:

    https://atelierrobin.net/downloads/

Then start the f100 software and type your program in the text area. You can test it by clicking run.

Once the program is known to run correctly without errors, save it to your hard drive. Give it a file name that is less than 32 characters since this will be the name that will appear in the LCD display on the generator.

Then use the "file->fgen->copy to fgen" menu item in the f100 software and open the file you just saved. It will be copied to the generator. If you select more than one file, they will all be copied at once.

From the generator you can them open and run the file you just copied using the generator keypad:
    -Press menu
-Press enter when you see "open"
-Scroll up/down until you see the file name to open
-Press enter to open the file
-Press run to "run" the file

  • Simple output test with multimeter
  • netralyN netraly

Procedure to test the output of a F126/165/170 with a multimeter

    Output II:

    • Set meter to volts 20 VDC
    • run 60 HZ on the generator with this single line: 60
    • Touch the red probe to the center contact on the BNC connector
    • Touch the black probe to the outer metal part of the BNC output connector

The meter should read approximately half of the full output voltage. If the volume knob is fully clockwise, the voltage on the meter will be about 6VDC

  • Installing an older F100 series on Windows 10
  • netralyN netraly

If your F100 series generator was built before Windows 7 came out, you will need to update the USB firmware to support MS-Windows 7 ,8 and 10. This needs to be done before switching to MS-Windows 7,8 or 10 . To be able to do this update, you need a Windows system that can communicate with the generator. This can either be a Windows XP or Vista system. Most Windows systems starting with version 7 will not be able to communicate with the generator without this firmware update. Prior to switching Windows versions, please download F100 , install it, connect your generator and turn it on. Then select tools->Update USB firmware. Then turn off and on your generator. After this, a new USB driver will be installed. On most systems, this will be done automatically by Windows. On others, you will have to install it manually via the MS-Windows Device manager. The new USB drive is located in c:\Program Files\f100\usb .

If you do not have access to a Windows XP computer, an alternative is to temporarily disable driver signing on Windows 10. You need to do this just to be able to update the USB driver from the F100 software. After, you can re-enable driver signatures. Here are instructions:
